1… Change engine oil and filter. Leave oil level low enough to accept the Microlon treatment without over-filling. 2… Fuel vehicle, generator etc. with enough fuel to drive or run for at least an hour. 3… Warm engine to normal operating temperature. 4… Shake Microlon liquid in container(s) for 60 seconds. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! 5… Add proper amount of Microlon fuel treatment to fuel tank as stated in specific kit below. 6… Add proper amount of Microlon and Compound 90 to crankcase as stated in specific kit below. 7… Immediately… start engine and drive for at least an hour (If treating a stationary engine, just run for it an hour). VERY IMPORTANT!!!! 8… After driving or running engine, check and add engine oil as necessary (the Microlon cleaner/carrier fluid cooks off in about an hour), the resin stays in the oil until the engine is fully treated. 9… Drive or operate normally until the next scheduled oil change. If engine oil becomes unusually dirty, (due to Microlon's cleaning action), change it sooner (best if not changed before 1,000 miles driving or 15 hours run time following treatment). 10… Noticeable benefits of the treatment are usually seen within the first 1,000 miles or 20 hours after treatment. The full benefits are not realized until after the first oil change following treatment, about 1,000 to 2,000 driving miles or 25 hours.
