Microlon Gas Engine Kits for Automotive Engines!
Each Kit contains Microlon’s Fuel System Treatment which contains the highest quality cleaning agents, corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants. These ingredients combine to prepare the pore structure to receive the Microlon Dry Film Lubricant that provides lasting protection in the fuel system (especially fuel injectors), valves and upper cylinder assemblies. The Engine Treatment thoroughly cleans the lower portion of the engine and significantly reduces the harmful effects of friction by coating internal engine parts with a durable micro-thin dry film lubricant coating. Unlike our competitors, Microlon treats engine metal, not the oil! Treatment Benefits! MIL is Microlon's standard formulation and is added to the crankcase for the treatment of internal combustion engines and other industrial applications. This formulation is fine for most passenger cars and light trucks CL-100 is Microlon’s high performance formulation and is added to the crankcase. Designed for use in all high performance engines, and for engines operating under extreme conditions. CL-100 was originally developed for use in aircraft engines. CL-100 can be substituted for MIL in any application where an upgrade is desired, to a more powerful metal treatment option! Fuel System Treatment is added to the fuel tank and contains the highest quality cleaning agents, corrosion inhibitors and antioxidants. These ingredients act the same as CL-100 to prepare the pore structure to receive the Microlon Treatment and provide lasting protection. C-90 is also added to the crankcase along with the MIL or CL-100 to supercharge the treatment process even more! These Kits are for gasoline engines only. 1… Change engine oil and filter. Leave oil 1 qt low if adding more then 16 oz Microlon. 2… Fuel vehicle with enough gas to drive for at least an hour. 3… Warm engine to normal operating temperature. 4… Shake Microlon liquid and C-90 in their container(s) for 60 seconds. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! 5… Add 8 oz of Microlon fuel treatment to fuel tank. 6… Add proper amount of Microlon liquid and C-90 to crankcase as stated in specific kit below. 7… Immediately… start engine and drive for at least an hour. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! 8… After driving, check and add engine oil as necessary (the Microlon cleaner/carrier fluid cooks off in about an hour), the resin stays in the oil until the engine is fully treated. 9… Drive normally until the next scheduled oil change. If engine oil becomes unusually dirty, (due to Microlon's cleaning action), change it sooner (best if not changed before 1,000 miles driving following treatment). 10… Noticeable benefits of the treatment are usually seen within the first 1,000 miles after treatment. The full benefits are not realized until after the first oil change following treatment, about 1,000 to 2,000 driving miles. Compact/Small Car Engine only Treatments
